A wish!

I wish to trickle back the clock,
The ever moving needles that fail to lock.
Back to the alignment it showed,
When you here stood so close

Held in arms I felt so safe,
Than any other place the needles would take.
A hesitant teardrop rolled down the cheek,
Accepting the glee, fearing the strange.

“I’m here”, assured those deep eyes you possess.
Brushing the mundane fears aside,
Touched I was, maybe swayed away!

A hug allowed my fragility,
The kiss can be blamed on the submission someday ….
