Abandoned. .

The strangeness in the heart beat

Seems quite prominent today,

Having heard those words 

you uttered, the words of disgrace.

Each letter edged enough to chisel the heart,

Shrunk into its virtual shell,

Troubled enough to love again, to play its part.  

Perturbed, I move forth.

The path staring mockingly

"Abandoned you are", it screams!

The street we always crossed together,

now alleged such disregarded feel.

The coffee table, the one by the street

The gawker of every phase,

Blue or insane.

Lies vacant, asks me to leave

Compelling me to drag myself,

Out of my dream chase. .
